MiVaBo is a non-profit organization with a so-called executive board. The foundation is entirely run by volunteers. Our main task is lobbying the government for a modern disability policy on Bonaire. We also try to make the island more accessible (such as shops, resorts and even the sea). We inform the citizens about possibilities and impossibilities through various media.

Due to the departure of one of our board members we are looking for a:

The MiVaBo Foundation is in full development. We have a lot of plans and are therefore looking for a cooperating board member who has a lot to offer! You will be responsible for, among other things, recruiting sponsorship funds and you will visit the management of companies on the island together with the chairman.

Tasks

• Help determine and monitor the policy and course of the foundation.
• Recruiting sponsor money from sympathizers of the MiVaBo goals.
• Writing/compiling informative documents for our target groups (resources: letters, brochures, website etc.). The target groups are: the population of Bonaire, visitors to the island, government relations and commercial parties.
• Maintaining contacts with the target groups.

What do we offer

• Of course we have for your possible health restrictions.
